Do you really understand the working principle of reverse osmosis water purifier? Working diagram of reverse osmosis water purifier

September 4, 2024

Many people believe that reverse osmosis water purifiers consume wastewater and electricity, but in fact, through technological improvements and data analysis, wastewater and electricity consumption are relative concepts compared to ultrafiltration machines, and their actual costs are not significant. This is a water circuit diagram of a reverse osmosis water purifier. The reverse osmosis water purifier is a single water machine, and the flow of pure water is as follows: tap water inlet - turn on the low-pressure switch (to protect the water pump when there is a shortage of water) ->>through the first stage PP filter ->>the second stage compressed activated carbon filter ->>the third stage PP cotton ->>the inlet solenoid valve ->>the fourth stage RO membrane (requiring external pressure from the booster pump) ->>through the check valve (blocking the backflow of water) ->>through the high-pressure switch (when the water outlet pressure of the machine reaches the original set pressure, the system power is cut off to ensure that the water pump does not work under overload conditions) ->>divided into two parts. Part of it goes through the 5th stage activated carbon - gooseneck faucet - pure water outlet, while the other part enters the pressure water storage tank to store water. Even if there is no electricity, there is still water to drink. The other part of the wastewater discharged from the RO membrane filter is discharged through the wastewater valve. The reverse osmosis dual water machine increases domestic water usage. Domestic water flow direction: tap water inlet - through low-pressure switch - through PP filter element - compressed activated carbon - PP cotton - gooseneck faucet - domestic water. Another difference is that domestic water is not directed through RO membranes and pressure tanks to the faucet, and does not produce wastewater. But in real life, there are many users who choose dual water machines, which are dual-use and multifunctional. Although there is some wastewater, it can be used equally, such as watering plants, mopping floors, flushing toilets, etc. The reverse osmosis water purifiers on the market are generally like this, except that the number and type of filter elements set before the RO membrane are different, so there are reverse osmosis water purifiers with the same dual water machine, but the prices vary greatly.

Advantages of Reverse Osmosis Water Purifier: Reverse osmosis water purifiers can not only remove impurities, rust, colloids, bacteria, and viruses, but also remove harmful radioactive particles, organic matter, fluorescent substances, and pesticides to the human body. They can also remove unwanted water alkali and heavy metals, ensuring that you have no water alkali when boiling water and protecting the health of your family. The use of reverse osmosis water purification can be used for cooking, soup making, tea making, and coffee brewing, ensuring the original and authentic taste, and fully decomposing the nutrients in food, making it more suitable for human absorption. Finally, the minerals in the water are negligible. Drinking a glass of milk can replenish as many minerals as drinking several meals of water. Which would you choose to drink, a glass of milk versus a ton of water? Undoubtedly, most people would choose milk, so there is no need to avoid using a reverse osmosis water purifier in order to absorb that beneficial element, especially in heavily polluted areas.
