Process advantages of two-stage DTRO landfill leachate treatment equipment

April 19, 2024

The two-stage DTRO equipment for garbage leachate treatment equipment is based on the application of the disc tube reverse osmosis membrane technology. Its core technology lies in the unique structural form of the disc tube reverse osmosis membrane, which makes it possible for the reverse osmosis membrane to directly treat garbage leachate. It is a stable and reliable garbage leachate treatment technology, which has the characteristics of low investment, high degree of self-control, easy operation and maintenance, low operating costs, and stable and continuous discharge requirements in meeting the current pollution control and emission standards of landfill sites. The specific features are as follows:
(1) The process is concise and compact, and the complete set of equipment is standardized
As shown in the diagram of the two-stage DTRO process complete set of equipment, this complete set of equipment integrates sand filtration system for pretreatment, core filter, membrane components for reverse osmosis separation, high-pressure pump, circulation pump, cleaning water tank for system cleaning, MCC cabinet and PLC cabinet for equipment power supply and control.
In addition, the raw water tanks, pump valves, etc. used for acid addition regulation of raw water and alkali callback of effluent are also standardized complete sets of equipment, all of which are processed, installed, and debugged in the factory; After the on-site hoisting is in place, it can be debugged and put into operation with a short cycle.
(2) Strong process stability, simple maintenance, and low energy consumption
Due to the limited factors affecting the retention rate of the membrane system, the effluent quality of the system is stable and not affected by factors such as biodegradability and carbon nitrogen ratio; The standardized design of DT membrane components used in the two-stage DTRO process makes them easy to disassemble and maintain. Opening the membrane components allows for easy inspection and maintenance of any filter membrane and other components, with simple maintenance. When the number of components is insufficient, the components allow for fewer membranes and guide plates to be installed without affecting the use of DT membrane components.
The DT membrane components in two-stage DTRO can effectively prevent membrane fouling, reduce membrane fouling, and extend the lifespan of the reverse osmosis membrane. The special structure and hydraulic design of DT make the membrane assembly easy to clean, and the flux recovery after cleaning is very good, thereby extending the lifespan of the membrane. Practical engineering has shown that in leachate treatment, the lifespan of the first level DT membrane can reach up to 3 years, the lifespan of the second level DT membrane can reach up to 5 years, and the lifespan of the first level DT membrane can reach more than 5 years after other treatment facilities (such as MBR), which is not achievable for general reverse osmosis treatment systems.
In this process, there is no need to achieve the final removal of pollutants, only for separation purposes, thus greatly reducing operating energy consumption; Any individual component inside the DT component is allowed to be replaced separately. The filtration section is assembled from multiple filtration membranes and guide plates. When the filtration membrane needs to be replaced, it can be replaced individually. Membranes with good filtration performance can still be used, which greatly reduces the cost of membrane replacement.
(3) Good effluent quality
Reverse osmosis membranes have extremely high removal rates for various pollutants and good effluent quality. Currently, the main applications are single-stage DTRO (connected in series to the biochemical effluent) and two-stage DTRO, which can fully meet the requirements of Table 2 of the Pollution Control Standard for Municipal Solid Waste Landfill (GB16889-2008).
(4) Flexible operation
The two-stage DTRO system, as a set of physical separation equipment, is highly flexible in operation and can operate continuously or intermittently. It can also adjust the series parallel connection mode of the system to meet the requirements of water quality and quantity.
(5) Short construction cycle, rapid debugging and start-up
The core components of the two-stage DTRO process are all assembled in the factory, accompanied by supporting factory buildings and water tank construction. The scale is small and the construction speed is fast. After the equipment arrives at the site, installation and debugging work can be completed in a short period of time.
